OT Solutions Architect – Mining Industry

About the Role:
We are looking for an OT Solutions Architect to lead the design, integration, and implementation of Operational Technology (OT) solutions in large-scale mining operations. This role requires advanced expertise in OT infrastructure, industrial automation, and network architecture, focusing on operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
? Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient OT architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
? Develop and integrate industrial networks, LTE, RF, IoT, Edge Computing, and cloud platforms.
? Ensure seamless interoperability between OT and IT systems, optimizing data flow and security.
? Provide technical guidance on automation and remote operations.
? Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to comply with standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST.
? Lead OT system integration projects, ensuring high availability and minimal operational disruptions.
? Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to drive innovation and digital transformation.
Requirements:
?? Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or related fields).
?? 8+ years of experience in OT solutions architecture and industrial automation.
?? Strong expertise in SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, Profinet.
?? Experience integrating OT with IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud, and AI-powered analytics platforms.
?? In-depth knowledge of OT cybersecurity, network segmentation, and industrial firewalls.
?? Experience in the mining industry or mission-critical industrial environments (preferred).
?? Strong communication skills in Spanish and English to interact with global teams.
?? Knowledge of mining regulations in Chile, operational safety, and compliance standards.
